Chile

One of the visited destinations is the beautiful country of Chile in Latin America. Candid Chile takes nature photographers on an 11-day trip through the magic of the Chilean forests and nature. Here, the curious and eager ones can find out which places will exactly be visited.

Huilo Huilo Nature Reserve

The first location of the trip is the well known Huilo Huilo Reserve, located in the Los Rios region in the south of Chile. This reserve is privately protected and it is part of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Temperate Rainforests of the Austral Andes. It is known for its sustainable practices based on the three foundations of Conservation, Community Integration and Sustainable Tourism. Moreover, the Huilo Huilo Reserve has even received some awards for its responsible travel applications, such as the ‘Top 100 Green Destinations Award’.

Huerquehue National Park

The second stop of Candid Chile is the Huerquehue National Park. Funny fact: this national park is less famous than the others and some Chileans do not even know it exists. That is also why it is worth it to pay a visit: it has a lot to offer. Huerquehue Reserve is situated in the Araucania region and is known to be a real hiking paradise for those that love relaxing in nature.

Villarrica

After two national parks, it is time to do something else. The first city we visit in Chile is Villarrica, in the province of Cautín. It is not that big, but is rich when it comes to beauty, going from the Lake Villarrica to activities one can do in the city. Since there are not that many tourists visiting this city, it provides our travellers a more authentic experience.

Conguillio National Park

The last national park is the absolute gem called the Conguillio National Park. It is not only the perfect place for photographers to shoot the most beautiful pictures, but it also hikers a wonderful experience. The park’s nature beauty has a lasting impact on visitors and it gives you the best views.

Temuco

Finally, we arrive in Temuco. This is not only where the trip begins, but also where it ends. Before the group goes back to the airport, they will spend a day in the city. Temuco is a bit more touristic, being more of a city trip for our group.
